Jacque Scaramella, MS, RD, CSSD

 

Current Position: Sports Dietitian (contractor), USA Rugby 7s, USA Archery, USA Sitting Volleyball, USA Para Ice Hockey 

Scaramella is a Board Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics (CSSD) and currently works with summer and winter Olympic and Paralympic sports. She supports the nutrition needs of Team USA athletes traveling domestically and internationally for training camps and competitions, including the most recent 2020 Summer Olympic & Paralympic Games in Tokyo, Japan held in 2021, the 2018 Winter Paralympic Games in PyeongChang, South Korea, and the 2016 Summer Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She is the Treasurer for the international sports nutrition organization, Professionals in Nutrition for Exercise and Sport (PINES) and is a Level 2 ISAK Anthropometrist. She has authored a book chapter on nutrition for amputees in the 2nd edition of Sports Nutrition for Paralympic Athletes and co-authored several professional publications on nutrition for para athletes. Scaramella received her Master of Science degree in Nutritional Science from California State University, Long Beach.
