Jessica Lowe, MPH, RDN, CSP 

 


 

Current Position: Ketogenic Dietitian

Lowe is a pediatric dietitian with a focus in ketogenic diet therapies as a treatment for intractable epilepsy. She has been practicing in this specialty for seven years at Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California and LAC+USC Medical Center. Lowe served as a reviewer for the both the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics practice paper and the Pediatric Nutrition Care Manual® section on ketogenic diet therapies for epilepsy. She is actively involved in the Pediatric Nutrition Practice Group serving as the Co-Chair for their Public Policy Committee, has also been recognized for her efforts educating dietetic interns receiving the Outstanding Preceptor Award from the Nutrition and Dietetic Educator Preceptor Practice Group. Lowe received her BS in nutrition and food science from California State University, Chico, MPH from the University of California Los Angeles, and is currently working on her doctorate in clinical nutrition from Rutgers University.
