Dana Scheunemann, PhD, MS, RD, CD 


Current Position: Assistant Professor

Assistant Professor at Mount Mary University (MMU) for the Coordinated Program in Dietetics, Master of Science in Dietetics, and the Integrated Master of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics.  

In addition to working at MMU, Scheunemann teaches basic nutrition to non-nutrition majors at Colorado Christian University. She is a lifestyle coach for the diabetes prevention program and RD at the Kettle Moraine YMCA and works at Allegiance Research Specialist as a study dietitian.   

Her previous experience includes working as an RD for St. Joseph’s Hospital serving both the inpatient and outpatient populations as well as providing community programs. She also worked as a renal dietitian for Midwest Dialysis Center/Fresenius.  

Scheunemann received her Bachelor of Science in Dietetics degree and Master of Science in Nutritional Sciences degree from UW Steven Point. She received her doctorate in public health with an epidemiology emphasis from Walden University.
