Amy Culp, RD, CSSD, LD, CEDS-C

 

Amy Culp, RD, CSSD, LD, CEDS-C, is the Assistant Athletics Director for Performance Nutrition and Clinical Dietetics at the University of Texas. She is a Registered and Licensed Dietitian, Board Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics, and Certified Eating Disorders Specialist Supervisor. Since 2012, Amy has built UT’s performance nutrition program from a solo effort into a nationally recognized team of Sports Dietitians. In 2022, she co-authored the Inter-Association Consensus Statement on Sports Nutrition Models for the Provision of Nutrition Services from Registered Dietitian Nutritionists in Collegiate Athletics in the Journal of Athletic Training. She served on the Board of Directors of the American Sports and Performance Dietitians Association (ASPDA) for eight years, including as President from 2020-2023. Amy earned her Bachelor of Science with Distinction in Food and Nutrition from San Diego State University and completed her clinical training at the VA San Diego Healthcare System. She is passionate about fostering healthy relationships with food and using evidence-based strategies to help athletes thrive.
