NCM Purchase and Renewal Flow
The new purchase and renewal flow was implemented to provide subscribers with the ability to purchase and renew multiple products simultaneously.

  • Purchase NCM®, PNCM® and SNCM® subscriptions simultaneously in the same shopping cart
  • Renew concurrent NCM®, PNCM® and SNCM® subscriptions as a single action
  • Shopping cart will display cost totals prior to purchase
  • Invoices will include summary of costs for all purchased products

Automatic Renewal and Renewal Notices
In an effort to streamline the renewal process we have implemented an automatic renewal program along with a more assistive renewal notice policy.

  • All institutional subscribers requesting PO billing are automatically enrolled in the automatic renewal program
    • 90 days before the end of the current subscription subscribers will receive an invoice indicating the total due by the end date of the current subscription period
  • All subscriptions will receive once monthly renewal reminders for the 90 days leading up to the end of their current subscription period
  • All accounts not renewed by the end of the current subscription period will receive once weekly reminders that the renewal of their existing subscription is past due
    • Accounts will be deactivated if they are greater than 30 days past due
  • Accounts that are deactivated due to non-payment will be allowed to login and renew at the new subscription pricing via their admin tools without creating a new account

GDPR and Email Opt-Out
According to international use standards the NCM® is in the process of implementing cookie tracking notices.

  • Before the end of the year users will be prompted to select the extent to which the NCM® is permitted to track user activity on the NCM® website.
    • Please note: Tracking user activity within the NCM® is a significant source of the information we use to assess which areas of the NCM® require additional care and updates.
  • Included in this effort will be the implementation of an admin option for users to opt-out of promotional NCM® emails as well as renewal notice reminders.

We hope you enjoy the 2018 Nutrition Care Manual® Updates!
Sincerely,
The NCM® Team
